Microbial Research, Inc. has a full suite of dairy testing services.
For over two decades, Microbial Research Inc. has built strong partnerships with local dairies to deliver high-quality microbiological testing that supports herd health monitoring. We also maintain a long-standing relationship with Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) to perform bulk tank analysis services.
Our team specializes in the isolation and identification of mastitis pathogens to support effective herd health management programs. Routine testing is performed using National Mastitis Council methods for the detection of Mycoplasma species, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella species.
We also offer antimicrobial susceptibility testing of isolates and Mycoplasma speciation to provide additional insight and guidance for treatment strategies.

Reporting
Concerning mastitis pathogens including Mycoplasma, Staphylococcus aureus, or Streptococcus agalactiae are reported promptly to each dairy upon detection. We pride ourselves in reporting results in the manner most convenient to each client – whether email, phone call, fax, or mail, or all of them!
